Amandine is from Pornichet, a small town in South Brittany, France. She went to Lipscomb University where she obtained a Bachelor in Psychology in 2014. She worked as an aupair to pay her tuition.
She has many years of experience working as a nanny, helping to enrich the lives of small children and also supporting & empowering their parents. She has a love of childcare and a magical way of making children feel comfortable in her care.
It was not before she became pregnant with her first child that she discovered the profession of being a doula. Amandine’s passions have always been midwifery and psychology. After her birth she came to realize that being a doula was a bridge between the two. She had discovered what she was born to do: taking care of women and families during the most beautiful moment of their life! Her goal is to build a relationship with her clients so that she can support them from pregnancy to the postpartum period and beyond!
Moreover, she is the proud mother of 2 boys and a girl. Two were born without medication at home and the other was born via C-section after a failed induction. Her middle child was premature, so he stayed 6 weeks in the NICU. She believes that her personal experience with her 3 pregnancies, births, and babies make her a better doula!
She trained and is certified with Prodoula.
Her business has a non-judgmental policy and it is something that she cares very strongly about. All births are beautiful. She likes to work with people with an array of birth philosophies. Births with or without medication are the same to her: both are beautiful, both women are strong and brave, both babies are super cute, and Amandine’s favorite is that both dads are moved to tears!
Amandine is a professional doula. She opened her business on the eve of her 30th birthday. It was an exciting moment for her.
She is serious, organized, reliable, calm, and passionate.
Whatever your philosophy on birth, whatever type of parents you want to be, you can count on Amandine to provide unbiased care to help you, and nurture you through the most exciting moment of your life.
