Jessica is a mother of three, and looks forward to bringing her personal experience combined with her professional experience to support families in the rewarding but challenging transitions that come with infant care.
She has experienced natural labor with a doula as well as scheduled induction, and realizes that each birth experience is so unique and personal.
She supports all birth philosophies and looks forward to providing supportive care that is individualized to meet each family’s needs. She believes that motherhood has taught her more than she ever could have imagined about herself and babies. She is passionate about her role as a mom and dreamed about working with children and families long before she began her career.
She is an encourager with a calm demeanor, and is honored to work with families that choose Mama Moon for their postpartum needs. She is passionate about equipping each family with the tools they need to feel rested and confident as they establish their new family routines.
Jessica is excited to partner with families as they welcome their new babies and navigate the many transitions that come with infant care and postpartum needs.
I am a married mother of three children ages 7, 14, and 17. I have worked in healthcare all of my life, as a staff nurse in labor and delivery to a family nurse practitioner to a certified nurse midwife.
As a newborn nurse with Mama Moon, I will not provide medical care, but I have the expertise to help you identify the need, the ability to provide calm, and plenty of experience as well as expertise with brand new babies, feeding and care to help place your mind at ease.
I love an orderly home so helping keep things in order comes naturally to me. I am thrilled for the opportunity to bring that knowledge and experience to you at this special and vulnerable time!
Megan is originally from Washington State. She has lived in Tennessee for 2 years now. Megan is an Army veteran, and her husband is still on active-duty. She has lived across the country thanks to the military.
She completed her BSN in Miami and is currently going to University of TN Health Science Center to obtain her Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. She has 6 years of Neonatal ICU experience.
Babies and their families are a huge passion of hers. She believes that it is important for parents to take care of themselves so they can be the best parents for their children and is excited to help parents get the rest they need.
